Carl Marks Advisors Wins Multiple Global M&A Awards; Two Executives Receive Top Recognition

NEW YORK – February 14, 2023Global M&A Network, LLC presented the 14th Annual Americas M&A Atlas Awards at a gala held this year in New York City on January 19. Carl Marks Advisors, a leading investment bank providing financial and operational advisory services to middle market companies was awarded Distressed Deal of the Year – lower mid-market and U.S.A Deal of the Year – middle markets. Additionally, Partner Warren Feder has been honored as a Top 50 Investment Banker, while Managing Director Benjiman Godbout was named a 2022 Americas Rising Star Dealmaker.

Carl Marks Advisors won the lower mid-market Distressed Deal of the Year award for the restructuring and sale of Aztec/Shaffer, LLC  to Arena Events, Summit Investment Management and affiliates. The firm was also presented with the middle market Deal of the Year award for the sale of WE Transport to Beacon Mobility, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity.
